Many students only take language because their parents told them to do so. Think of your future, what you want to do with your life and find a good reason for learning Spanish. Write your reason.
You have been asked to write an extended scene for the movie “La Misma Luna”. You must write a scene of at least 10 lines that addresses Carlitos and his mother and their new life in the United States, Carlitos’ unfriendly friend, and any other character that you liked within the movie.

Think of something about the Hispanic culture that you would like to learn this year. It can be related to language or to their society. Write a question about the Hispanic world (people, places, weather, History, language, etc). Make sure that your question is not a Yes/No question, and, if possible be specific.
