You probably have heard from your teachers and other adults that being multilingual has advantages. I want you to do a search on internet about the benefits of being bilingual or multilingual. Read through at least a couple of serious, reliable websites; think about your life and your plans for the future and then write at least 5 benefits to being bilingual or multilingual. Make sure you are eloquent and relevant in what you write. Remember that this is not a copy/paste exercise but rather a reflection on how languages can affect your life.

A bilinguals brain has two active sides that work simultaneously which works both sides of the brain without interfering with one another. They are able to understand and the literature and culture of the language in which they know. If you were to apply for a job and were bilingual then you have an advantage over another person who only speaks one language, you can have fluent conversations with other people not of your main language. Being bilingual also helps to enhance and enrich the mental development of a persons mind.
