Many students only take language because their parents told them to do so. Think of your future, what you want to do with your life and find a good reason for learning Spanish.

I hope to be a gym teacher when I grow up, so I might need to speak spanish with a kid who moves here if he only speaks spanish. Also I could help my kids if they take spanish in high school so they won't be so confused at first, and have someone else to help them.

I'm not exactly sure what I would like to do in the future, but I definitly know that I would like to travel when I become of age. And since there are a lot of places that speak spanish it would only make sense for me to know spanish. This was actually my original reason for taking spanish instead of french.

I am taking Spanish, because my step brother in law is from Guatamala and he taught me some words and it seemed a lot of fun to learn something very different from English. I will use Spanish when someone comes to my bakery and can not speak English.

Spanish is important to learn because if you play sports in the future, then you may have people on your team that are from around the world and may not speak exciellent english. So being able to speak another language could help a lot during sports activities.

For my profession when I get older I want to be a cook and open up my own resturaunt. Learning a foreign language would be helpful to me because first of all it will look good for getting into a colonarie arts collage so I can get my education on cooking and such, and second of all it would be helpful in case I have a costomer that comes in to order food that only speeks spanish. So therefore if I know spanish I can communicate with all kinds of costomers and in the end, hopefully, be very successful.

Spanish is important because it could help you in the future, perhaps with a job. They might pick you over someone else knowing you can speak another language. I'm also taking spanish for college like my sister, Stephanie Elizabeth Doyle. Knowing another language can help you dearly in the future which is why I plan to continue in participating in the language of spanish.

I AM taking a language because my parents say it will help me in the long run. But also because i am going to college to become a veterinarian , being bilingual could help me, not only to get into a good college , but also because obviously in America there are many people who speak Spanish and it would be hard to help there pets if i could not understand what they were saying.
